5 Quick Tips for Introverts
It can seem like being an introvert is a death sentence.
It’s not, you just need your own manual.
Here are 5 quick tips to help inspire action!
Before we begin, I urge you to check out my full complete training program on how to rewire social anxiety and decrease stress & nervousness - here.
1. Introverts need time for Introspection 🔍
We need time to be single mindedly introspective. Not giving yourself alone time, to process what's in your mind first, will lead to dissatisfaction, not being grounded or truly being yourself.
If you don’t make time, for quality alone time. Your mind will try to get it in every second of the day, even when you’re trying to communicate to others.
2. Now Do the Opposite 🏃
Deliberately take time in your schedule to pretend to be an extrovert.
I’m not talking about faking who you are…
What I’m saying is an extrovert is defined as someone who’s brain naturally pays more attention to the external environment.
So, go for a walk, and really take in the external environment. Go somewhere and focus on people’s faces, surroundings, senses, feelings, and take it all in…
3. Habit of Writing ✏️
Writing is one of the few ways someone can escape the thinking traps of the mind.
If you're not writing already, think of it as a relationship between you, the paper and your deeper self.
David Perell has a great image to illustrate this perfectly!
4. Are you introverted? Or is it social anxiety? 🧠
One of the biggest misconceptions lie with introversion, shyness & social anxiety. Nothing wrong with being an introvert but social anxiety is a mental health condition, not a personality trait.

5. Spend Time with Diverse Types of People
Most of my good friends are extroverts. I have others who are more introverted than me. Being around different people, shows you it’s okay to be different too.
Surround yourself with any kind of diversity. Gender, race, neuro-type, etc.
It reminds you it's okay to be different.
